AmyJoJohnson It's starting to pick up and starting to get into this whole music thing. I am starting to have fun. At the beginning my character didn't have a lot going on. turtlebjm Amy Jo, do you find that your life has changed since the show started? AmyJoJohnson A lot of things in my life have changed just by getting older and growing and not because of the show, I don't think. Since I started this show my mother passed away and she was my best friend. She's my angel. Looneychick2000 Hi, I'm Farida and I'm all the way from Curacao ..... I love Felicity. AmyJoJohnson I think working on a series gives you a lot of time to grow as an actress, 'cause you are constantly doing it every day. I think that I have grown a lot in the last year. Moderator How long is your typical workday? AmyJoJohnson It depends; sometimes 14 hours, or sometimes three or four hours. Sometimes if I am in every scene that day, I'll work all day. But TV goes a lot faster than film. afrodite2000 Hi, I am Brazilian, and I love your show ... AmyJoJohnson :-) Gigigi Hi Amy Jo! What do you like to do better, sing or act? AmyJoJohnson I like them both the same, but differently. I wouldn't trade either one. Singing is more of a personal thing for me. I write my lyrics from my journal. Acting is more of an escape and a pretending to be other people. mindy4210 I love your song "Puddle of Grace". When will you release an album? AmyJoJohnson Right now I am just working with my band. We are playing around Hollywood and I am just focusing on that for a while. I play the guitar. :-) dashfan I really enjoyed your work in Sweetwater and Felicity, and I am interested to know when your solo CD is being released. Also, I am a huge fan of Dash Mihok... what was it like to work with him? AmyJoJohnson Yeah, right now I am developing the music and working with my band and having fun with it, until it becomes too businesslike for me. :-) mozie4758 Amy Jo, if you could use only one word to describe each of your cast mates, what would it be for each? I did a movie once where I played basketball ... It's cool. I'm a sports fan, but not necessarily basketball ... I go through phases. Last year I really got into football. This year, you know what, I am going to go skiing this weekend. :-) mozie4758 What episode number are you filming right now? AmyJoJohnson I think that we are on 12. I think that we shoot 22. Looneychick2000 What is it that you like most about Julie?? AmyJoJohnson I love the fact that she plays guitar and sings ... that's fun! And her independence. I think that she is VERY independent. Moderator How much are you like Julie? AmyJoJohnson A lot of her is like me, 'cause I AM HER ... LOL. But then there are a lot of things that are different. I think that I go through many phases when I am, and I'm not, like her. Moderator How much input do you have on your character? AmyJoJohnson I put a lot of myself in her. I am usually all right with the way it is written ... sometimes I have some input. natyd674 What do you think about Keri's hairdo? AmyJoJohnson I think that it's cute. I like it a lot. It's a big change. I've never had really short or long hair, but I think that it's cute ... and that's all that matters. I've wanted to cut it that short. But I can't change it 'cause of the show.  sandity3143 Do you like tofu hotdogs?? AmyJoJohnson EWWWWW ... I dunno ... hehehhehehe. That's an odd question! LOL I tried tofu turkey, it was awful. SO BAD! ... LOL fananna Is she going to get together with the roomate (of whom I forgot the name ...)? AmyJoJohnson I dunno ... I honestly have no idea until I read the next script. I just got a script today and we started filming tonight. ghvd513 If you could change Julie in any way, what would you do? AmyJoJohnson Hummmmmm ... I would ... ummmm ... I dunno! Well ... hummm ... if I could change her, then I would make something really crazy happen to her. That would be fun for me! DarthGravy The episode with you and Felicity strained on the subway was one of your best episodes! AmyJoJohnson That's nice ... thank you! AmyJoJohnson I work mostly with Greg and I find him amazing. I think that he is such a warm person. I love working with him. He's funny. DarthGravy What happened to Dash's character? Did he graduate? AmyJoJohnson I dunno ... hehehhee. He came in halfway ... he did six episodes. sugarwaters What do you think - Felicity and Noel or Felicity and Ben? AmyJoJohnson OOOOH ... that's tough. I can see both. I can see Felicity and Noel ... I can see that 'cause it's safe and comfortable. I see Felicity and Ben, 'cause it's more exciting and crazier. But I can see it both ways. dashfan Your dog is so cute!!! How is she? AmyJoJohnson She's great ... she's an American bulldog. Looks like a boxer, pitbull mix. I've had her for three years. Rosana_Porter What do you think about Felicity and David? AmyJoJohnson Yeah ... I dunno ... I really like the guy who played David, but personally I think Ben or Noel. mozie4758 It would be nice to actually see the Felicity cast take a trip somewhere together. Where did you learn how to act? AmyJoJohnson Thank you VERY much! I've been studying for, like, five or six years and still continue to study and keep growing as an actress. I think I have a more difficult time with the comedy than with the drama. I watch Mary Tyler Moore and others and I wish I was blessed with the timing ... It's all in the timing. spoilerman Do you actually tape some parts of Felicity in NYC? AmyJoJohnson Yeah we do, we were there a couple weeks ago. We shoot some exteriors. AmyJoJohnson Thank you! I started playing guitar four years ago. I taught myself, and just recently took lessons. I wanted to expand and get better, but my schedule is too full. The guy who plays guitar in my band is also teaching me guitar. Crristina Who's a better kisser, Ben or Noel? AmyJoJohnson Well I wouldn't know that, would I? I've never kissed Scott Foley, he has a girlfriend. I think that the person to ask would be Keri. DarthGravy This might have been asked already, but what do you think will happen to Julie after college? AmyJoJohnson Probably something to do with music ... Crristina How many languages do you speak? AmyJoJohnson One. LOL Hahhaha ... Well, I can speak my dog's language, so two. :-) fananna What are the award shows like, actually being in the audience? AmyJoJohnson Very small. I was really surprised how small the stage was. Then seeing these people that you were so infatuated with all your life, like John Travolta, and you're like "they are so small" ... But it was REALLY fun. It's like cardboard ... but big and glamorous on TV. :-) fananna Any onset dating? AmyJoJohnson No, besides Jennifer and Scott ... but she is on a different show now. mozie4758 Amy Jo, I like your hair this season, I like it better without all the barretts. AmyJoJohnson OK ... I'll keep that in mind. :-) dashfan What happened to Valhalla? AmyJoJohnson About a year ago I started playing more by myself and now I have re-established a different group. But I am still friends with them. spoilerman Did you ever go to Dean & Deluca's in NYC? AmyJoJohnson Yeah, we shoot there when we go. smiles4carebears I know that you took gymnastics lessons ... How come you didn't head in the directon of a fulltime gymnast? AmyJoJohnson I was a gymnast and I quit when I was 17. I was a full-time gymnast. I didn't go to college, I went to NYC and studied acting. So I didn't have a team. You can say, I went to college ... I mean, I went to NYC and lived in the dorms and went to AMDA ... I had classes every day. I went to school at Strasberg. So I did go to college ... which is my life ... acting and singing. Moderator Did the gymnastic background help with the Power Ranger role? AmyJoJohnson Oh YEAH ... for sure ... definitely helped me get that. mozie4758 Amy Jo, it is really hard to figure out how tall all of you are. Can you enlighten us on the heights of the cast members. AmyJoJohnson Keri is like 5'4", Foley and Speedy are like 6'. 5'8" is Tangi, I'm like 5'2" ... Fabian194 Amy, what does it feel to be so famous so young? AmyJoJohnson It's definitely a trip. Definitely I didn't expect it, but I've fallen in love with it. I want to do good film. I want the fans to like the work that I do. In Hollywood there is a whole scene where people take advantage of being on TV. But I hope I don't get to that point ... just smack me in my face! Hehehhee. DarthGravy If you had your pick of a type of movie to do, what genre would it be? AmyJoJohnson SO many ... I think that I just want to find a story that really moves me and a character that you fall in love with. I think that that's really important, no matter what the story is about. I have a lot of different favorite movies. I want to do a period piece. I want to do a love story. I like really gritty character roles. Really gritty people roles instead of small, perfect Hollywood roles. I'd rather go the other way. I really envy and love Patricia Arquette and Holly Hunter. DarthGravy I've got an idea that will revolutionize the show - a Felicity/Power Rangers crossover! What do you think? AmyJoJohnson I don't know what to say about that! Hahahhahha. I don't think that it would work ... HEY, I'll ask J.J. LOL ROFL smiles4carebears Is there any celebrity that you would love to be able to work with, and why? AmyJoJohnson Yeah, there are a lot. SO many. Meryl Streep ... she's a genius. I just want to watch her work. And Holly Hunter and Susan Sarandon. Sean Penn is SO good. I would be a little scared to work with him, though. I like Tom Hanks ... There are SO many people that I think are SO talented ... it's so hard. I think that Natalie Portman is amazing ... Robert De Niro of course. DarthGravy If there were any classic TV show (aside from Felicity) you could have starred in, which one would it be? AmyJoJohnson I love Mary Tyler Moore ... I LOVE Taxi. My sister, who I've learned so much from. She has two kids and she is the best mom. I can see them having a TOTALLY fun thing. ksealy3 Do you get to choose your own clothes for the character, or are they your own? AmyJoJohnson Neither, we have a stylist who dresses us. I can't stand shopping ... NOT fun for me! But I like Christmas shopping. Buying clothes gives me anxiety. sugarwaters If there was a Felicity movie, would you do it?
