Host Welcome, Amy Jo Johnson! Amy Jo Johnson Hello. Host Here is our first question. Which has been the best experience for you as an actress -- "Power Rangers", "Felicity", or "Sweetwater"? Amy Jo Johnson Um, I think they all have been really great experiences, and I have learned different things from each one of them. Host Did your peers ever tease you for being in a kids' show? ("The Power Rangers") Amy Jo Johnson Oh, of course! I always get stuff for being the Pink Power Ranger, but that's okay. I think it's funny. LOL Host Hi, Amy Jo, I was told that you were in a band, is that true? I also read in Teen People magazine that you sang at the celebrity pool party and that you were going to have a song on the "Felicity" soundtrack. Fact or fiction? Amy Jo Johnson Yes, I have a song on the "Felicity" soundtrack and I did perform at a pool party. I used to have a band, but now I am just playing around town with me and my guitar. Host Hi, Amy Jo, I just recently saw a movie you did called "Susie Q". I saw it on the Disney Channel. It was a great movie. Does any of the character you played resemble your personality? Amy Jo Johnson Yeah, a lot of parts of her are me. I was always kind of a tomboy growing up like she is. Host Which cast member are you closest to or hang out with the most on the set? Amy Jo Johnson Um, I would say I'm closest to Scott Foley and Greg Glumberg. Host What is your movie about? Amy Jo Johnson "Sweetwater" is about a band from the '60s that opened Woodstock and then disappeared. The story is about why they disappeared. Host Hi, Amy! Do you have any pets? Amy Jo Johnson Oh yes, I have Lucy, an American Bulldog, who is my best friend, and I have two cats, Stella and Pickles. Host Amy Jo, you are so cool, you are my favorite character on "Felicity". My question for you is, out of the male actors on the show, which one would you date in real life? Amy Jo Johnson LOL I wouldn't date any of them, they are all taken. None of them are single. Host Amy, after playing a part in "Sweetwater" set in the '60s, would you have liked to live during that time? Amy Jo Johnson Yes, I grew up a HUGE Grateful Dead fan. I've always been infatuated with that era. Host Which do you prefer making -- movies or TV shows? Amy Jo Johnson I really want to have my career in film. Host What was the best part about working on "Sweetwater"? Amy Jo Johnson I got to sing all my own songs, and I worked with the producer, whose name was Mark Hudson, and that was pretty incredible. Host Hi, Amy, I just wanted to know, what's your inspiration that helps you feel your character on "Felicity" so much and play her so well, and did you use the same for the character in "Sweetwater"? Amy Jo Johnson I don't know how to answer that, 'cause I sort of just read the script and play. I really don't have much of a method. Host Hi, Amy, I heard that you sing. When is your new album coming out? I hope soon. Bye. Amy Jo Johnson LOL I don't have an album coming out... yet! Host Why was the reason Amy Jo Johnson left the show "Power Rangers"? Amy Jo Johnson 'Cause I got bored, and I wanted to move on. Host What is your favorite part of being an actress? Amy Jo Johnson I love to pretend and play. I've always loved it. Host What was your favorite part about doing this movie? Singing or acting? Why? How did you get the lead role in "Sweetwater"? Amy Jo Johnson I was offered the part, which was the first time that had ever happened to me, so it was really exciting. Host What was your first acting role? Amy Jo Johnson "Power Rangers". Host Amy Jo... of EVERYBODY in the business you've met and worked with, who was the most inspirational to you? Amy Jo Johnson Most inspirational to me is a woman named Betty Reese who is a dear friend to me and also helps me with my auditions and things. Host Do you get homesick when working on a project? Amy Jo Johnson I did when I was in Vancouver working on "Sweetwater", I was very homesick and I missed my dog. Host Hey, Amy! I was just wondering what your song "Puddles of Grace" means? Amy Jo Johnson "Puddle of Grace" was a song I wrote for my mother, and it's about finding yourself. Host I saw a TV movie you made about a girl with an eating disorder. I loved the movie. It really touched me. How does it make you feel to know that some things you do can touch millions of people? Amy Jo Johnson It makes me feel like my job is a worthwhile job to have if a character I play touches somebody. Host Here is our last question for tonight. Amy, do you have an official web site?
